Description

Lady Aisha Academy is an Independent Muslim Girls Secondary School located near the Barking/Ilford boundary in Essex. The school was set up in September 2011 with the aim of providing excellent education for girls from the age of 11 to 16, placing particular emphasis on the building of good character, acquiring skills and instilling value for learning.

The position has been created to reduce the teaching load of current teachers and as a result the timetable will be a scattered throughout the week, with a total of approximately 8 periods per week for 2019-20. The successful candidate will however have the opportunity to secure a more substantial timetable for 2020-21.

The ideal candidate will either hold or be expected to obtain a QTS/PGCE qualification. Our aim is to have staff committed to the wellbeing and educational aspirations of all our pupils. Candidates who do not have a QTS/PGCE qualification but hold a degree and have previous teaching experience will also be considered.

Salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
