An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational and ambitious Lead Teacher of Science, to join our Science Department.  As a school we encourage our staff to work creatively; we believe our success is from a willingness to take risks and look at things from a very innovative angle. We are therefore seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and influential Lead Teacher of Science to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4.  We are looking for an outstanding Lead Teacher with clear impact who is able to model and coach teachers to take teaching at our school to Outstanding - from Good (OfSTED, July 2018)

The Science department at Barnet Hill Academy consists of a team of three teachers and we are in the process of securing new lab facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to help to shape the future of a successful school at a key juncture. We offer small classes, good behaviour and, a positive workforce ethos with supportive colleagues and big ambitions!

The school has a new dynamic governance and leadership team who are seeking to continually improve and are keen to ensure all of our students experience science teaching at its best enabling them to reach their full potential.

If you think you have what it takes, contact the school to enquire further. Visits to the Academy are very welcome in the first instance; meet the Principal, view the school and consider if you can make that difference...
