Al-Noor Primary (VA) is a new 2 form entry, co-educational school which will open in September 2018 in a new, purpose-built school building. It will start off with two year groups: Reception and year one and expand a year group at a time until it is full in September 2023. The school will welcome a diverse intake of pupils and be inclusive of all. It will strive through its distinctive faith ethos (Muslim) to nurture responsible, highly achieving and engaged citizens who are well equipped to play a positive role in Redbridge and beyond.

The school build will be completed in June 2018 when visits will be possible. In the meantime the school is seeking a dynamic, engaging and effective School Office Manager with a history of effectiveness and best practise in school administration and its management.

The ideal candidate:

  • strongly supports our vision, value and faith ethos;
  • has relevant qualifications at level 2 and beyond, as well as at least level 2 in English and Maths, an associates or Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but will consider work experience in lieu of degree;
  • has several years experience of customer service and of working in an office environment and two or more years experience of managing school administration including management of staff
  • previous experience of dealing with school money and aspects of finance, as well as ordering and managing school and office resources;
  • also has previous experience of managing and administering First Aid, Health and Safety, pupil medical plan management, pupils attendance and punctuality;
  • is an effective manager of people, resources, information and systems;
  • have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • has experience of organisational effectiveness in previous positions;
  • can lead and manage others but is also collegiate and an effective team player;
  • is committed to continuous improvement of school administration and professional excellence;
  • is committed to safeguarding children and are suitable to work with them;
  • would be a positive & enthusiastic role model for our pupils.
