Suffah Primary School is a warm and caring independent primary school for children aged 3-11. There are currently 183 pupils on roll (including nursery). The School Governors are seeking to appoint a full time highly motivated, dedicated, forward-looking and experienced inspirational Qur'an & Islamic Studies Teacher.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be committed and enhance the ethos of the school which is to provide high quality education in an Islamic environment;
  • Possess strong teaching skills, who is able to work well with a team of dedicated and hardworking staff;
  • Have the experience of previously teaching Qur'an & Islamic Studies to Primary School children.

Preferred training, qualifications and experience:

  • Established Qur'an & Islamic Studies Teacher
  • Experience of working with young children
  • Organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
