Noor ul Islam Pre-school is an Ofsted Outstanding rated pre-school in the heart of Leyton, East London.

We are seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Early Years Leader with experience of setting a curriculum and who has the leadership and management skills to play a key role in the pre-school as Assistant Curriculum Manager.

The Assistant Curriculum Manager will:

  • Monitor and raise the standards in teaching and learning
  • Oversee the tracking of pupil progress
  • Plan the long-term, medium-term and short-term curriculum with the help of the teaching staff
  • In partnership with the pre-school manager play a leading role in the self-evaluation process
  • Oversee the identification of children with additional needs and the support given to them with the SENCO
  • Be the deputy designated safeguarding lead
  • Lead by example to motivate and work with others
  • Identify staff CPD needs and support them with training

The pre-school operates under Waltham Forest Noor ul Islam (a registered charity). Noor ul Islam provides a whole range of services to the local community. Since 1990, when it opened its Head Office at High Road, Leyton, London E10, we have provided the local, national and international community with welfare services.

Noor ul Islam Pre-School started in 1999 and is based on the same site as Noor ul Islam Head Office. The pre-school is very easy to access via a range of public transport.

  • With experience in leading an early years setting
  • Familiar with the EYFS framework
  • Qualified in working within the Early Years Sector

  • Who demonstrates and appreciates professionalism in their own conduct
  • Who generates energy in the school, is calm and approachable towards staff, parents and children
  • Who has excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Who is proficient in using Microsoft Office
  • Who is able to work on their own initiative
