The Noor ul Islam Trust is a Registered Charity based in London.

The Trust provides a whole range of services to the local community. Since 1990, the Trust at our Head Office on High Road, Leyton, London E10, has provided the local, national and international community with welfare services.

Noor ul Islam Primary School started in September 2001. The school is a 15-minute walk from Noor ul Islam Trust’s Head Office.

Noor ul Islam Primary School is a mixed one-form entry Independent Islamic Primary School with 160 pupils on roll coupled with an extensive, oversubscribed waiting list. Noor ul Islam Primary School is a dynamic, forward-looking Islamic school. Role Description

  • To cover lunchtime assistant shifts in instances of staff absence
  • Supervise all pupils in all areas, both inside (during wet lunch) and outside in the playground.
  • Ensure pupils queuing up for meals do so in a sensible manner and make sure that they enter the school environment in a calm and purposeful manner.
  • Ensure that the dining areas are left in a clean state, clean up any spillages and ensure that litter is put in a bin.
  • Maintain the high standard of discipline of learners who are accessing the dining areas (any student causing concern should be referred to the relevant class teacher)
  • Be aware of the responsibility for safeguarding, child protection, personal health, safety and welfare and that of others who may be affected by your actions or inactions.
